MISSION STATEMENT
To exemplify and glorify Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, by the love we display, the joy we emit, and the passion we demonstrate in worship, ministry, service, witness, fellowship, giving, and cooperation with and affirmation of our Pastor and Staff, as well as the entire church family.

We base this ministry on this scripture passage:
Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.
Ephesians 2:20 (NLT)

And we claim God’s promise to us from this scripture passage:
Even when you are old, I will be the same.
Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. Isaiah 46:4 (NCV)

NOAH’S ARK Senior Mnistry

WHO ARE WE?
Cornerstone Ministry (the name which our Senior Members gave themselves) defines who they are, a group of joyful dedicated believers consisting of adults who are 50 years and older. These are seasoned saints who provide leadership, wisdom, and service in many areas of church ministry. They are devoted to our Lord and to the church. They are compassionate and caring, faithfully demonstrating God’s love toward those having needs and toward those who are new to our church.
Cornerstone Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for involvement in Bible Study, ministry, fellowship, and fun events. Trips and excursions are normally held in summer months.
-
This ministry is for anyone in the church who is aged 50 or older and their spouses (even if they are under 50)
-
Bimonthly meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the church youth building.
-
Meetings are suspended from mid-December until mid- to-late March depending on weather.
-
We try to have one social activity each month from April through December.
-
We participate in Men and Women’s ministries within our church.

Patty and Terry Haught (co-directors)
Patty accepted the position as senior ministry director in 2006. There was an unmet need in our church to better serve the senior members. Patty accepted Christ in 1973 and rededicated her life to Christ in 1998. Patty’s husband, Terry, accepted Christ as his savior on December 31, 2021. Together they attempt to plan Bible Studies and Social Activities that bring the senior members together for food (spiritual and physical), fellowship, and fun. Anyone is welcome to attend. The really great thing about our members is that they’ve lived through many life experiences and their faith is not easily shaken. They know what God has already done for them throughout their lives, and they trust their Lord to be with them for these latter years of life
